We offer our clients Non Silicone Defoamer which are used as Deformer for all Synthetic Latex Systems. The Antifoam-NXZ that we provide to our clients are 100% active liquid defoamer for use in synthetic latex emulsions and for Paints & Adhesives made from synthetic latex emulsions.

Application:


  • As little as 2 to 3 pounds of Antifoam-NXZ effectively defoamer 100 gallons of paint
  • For adhesives, 1-2% Antifoam-NXZ  based on the weight of the latex solids is generally adequate
  • Antifoam-NXZ may be employed "as-is' or dispersed in water prior to use
  • In paint manufacture, it is usually advantageous to split the addition of defoamer
  • Add one half the normal amount to the pigment mix prior to grinding to suppress the formation of foam
  • Add the remainder to the 'let-down' portion of the paint

Paint Dispersing Agent for wide range of water borne coatings. For meeting the variegated requirements of our customers, we are offering a wide range of dispersing agents. These agents are processed using naphthalene, which are sodium salt of a sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde condensate. Owing to their features like accurate composition, effectiveness and safe usage, these agents are widely demanded by the customers. A dispersant or a dispersing agent or a plasticizer or a superplasticizer is either a non-surface active polymer or a surface-active substance added to a suspension, usually a colloid, to improve the separation of particles and to prevent settling or clumping.

Paint Emulsifying Agent

Paint Emulsifying Agent
We provide a wide a wide range of Paint Emulsifying Agent, for paint. A special silicate removing agent that is widely used in the paint industry for removing impurities from the paint. This special emulsifying wetting agent is effective in removing oily, fatty or waxy impurities from the paint. Besides this, it is also used for improving the absorbency of paint during pretreatment. For Emulsifying alkyd: Generally 0.5% to 2.0% emulsifier is recommended. The right quantity can only be determined by experiments.

We provide Paint Dispersing Agent to our clients. Our Dispersing Agent are named under Sequest N 40, which is effective over a pH range 6.5 - 8.0 and upto temperatures in excess of 100°C. Compared with inorganic dispersing agents, eg polyphosphate products, the organic polymer based Sequest N40 provides improved storage stability of both, the pigment dispersion and formulated paint. There is little or no adverse reaction to high temperatures or pH changes. Incorporation of Sequest N 40 it is recommended to add the pigment to heavily stirred water containing the dispersing agent as opposed to addition of the dispersing agent to pigment slurry. In general, the pH of the final preparation should be in the region of 8.0 to obtain dispersing efficiency. The optimum amount of dispersing agent required to form a stable dispersion strongly depends on the pigment's chemical nature, the particle surface and shape. The polymer base of the latex also plays a very important part in the stability equation. In general, significant overdosing may deteriorate the coatings properties (e.g. water resistance) and also generates an economic disadvantage. Likewise insufficient dispersing agent will lead to instability on storage.

The Paint Dispersing Agents that we provide to our clients Seques are ideal for a wide range of water-borne coatings. Sequest A 40 can be used as supplied. The neutralizing alkali used in conjunction with the acrylic polymer can significantly impact the properties of the final coating. Sequest A 40 releases ammonia during the drying process and therefore has little impact on water and alkaline resistance of the dry film. Use of Sequest A 40 should be limited to pH 9.0 and temperatures lower than 70 °C due to potential loss of volatile ammonia. Compared with inorganic dispersing agents, eg poly phosphate products, the organic polymer based Sequest A40 provides improved storage stability of both, the pigment dispersion and formulated paint. There is little or no adverse reaction to high temperatures or pH changes.

We offer our clients Paint Silicone Defoamer under our brand name Defoamer - SIL which is made in a wide variety of industrial hatches processing applications. These include petroleum refining, coating textile finishing, latex processing and handling, leather finishing, fermentation processes; oil and antifreeze operations, adhesive manufacture etc.

Thurs offer Defoamer - SIL for such processes where foaming creates intense problem. Silicone Defoamer unlike other types of chemical defoamer minimizes any possibility of contamination, because it is inert and effective in extremely small quantities. In batch industrial processes Defoamer - SIL, can be added in a calculated amount to the mixing tank when the batch is being made. Such simple step prevents the formation of foam and is far easier and more economical than breaking foam that has already formed. Even though already formed foam can also be easily broken within few seconds to nil foam height with Defoamer - SIL.

Paint Emulsifier that we offer to our client are used in dry grinding of pigments intended for water dispersion, surface active agents are often used. Their main purpose in this application is to improve the degree of dispersion. For that purpose Emulsol P is often used. Pigments are often coated with an Oleophilic layer (Emulsion P) in order to make them more readily dispersive. The grinding of dry pigments into the oily vehicle is one of the most important step in the manufacture of coating materials. The physical chemistry of this process has been intensively studied from both the practical and theoretical point of view & Emulsol P has been found to be of greater use here. Emulsol P is a light coloured soluble in water and soluble in most of the solvents and oil media. However, in acidic water it forms a dispersion showing cationic characteristic. Emulsol P is used as an emulsifier in paint industry.
